Shoebox Appeal 2017

Today we received an email from a representative of Samaritans’ Purse UK.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Girls and Boys;
I’m excited to update you – the shoebox gifts from our area have been delivered to children in Bosnia.
The boxes were gathered and checked at the depot in Great Haywood, Stafford and on the 7th December the team loaded them onto the lorry bound for Bosnia – a total of 10020 boxes went on the lorry.  About a week later distribution of the boxes started.  I have attached pictures.  Its hard to put it into words, but your shoebox gifts made the world of difference to the children that received them, brightening up their Christmas and showing them that they are loved.

More information is at the following link:

I’d just like to say thank you again for your involvement – without your gifts, nothing would happen.  You have made the world of difference.
All the best

We took part in the Samaritans’ Shoebox Appeal for 2017.  These are sent abroad to help children in Bosnia have a better Christmas.  Thank you very much to the families who donated a shoebox.

Pictured with the shoeboxes, before they were collected to be shipped abroad, are our Head Boy and Girl and Deputy Head Boy and Girl.
