Meet our School Council members for 2017-2018

Our School Council is made up of 2 members from each year.  They meet fortnightly, on Friday lunchtimes and are part of the steering group which is helping the school towards the first level of the Rights Respecting School award.

On Friday 10th November, KS2 members of the School Council went to St. Giles Anglican Church to lay poppies on the graves of WW1 servicemen; they were accompanied by Mrs Bell, Mr Chandler and PCSO Bridgewood.

After each poppy had been laid, they observed a minute’s silence as a mark of respect.

When they got back to school, they showed their videos in the Remembrance Day assembly.  At 11 o’clock the whole school observed a minute’s silence.
