Remembrance Day 2016

On 11th November school council members from year 4, 5 and 6 went to St Giles’ Anglican Church for a Remembrance Day service along with Mrs Bell, Mr Chandler (an ex-Royal Marine) and PC Mark (an ex-RAF serviceman).

The Cheadle branch of Royal British Legion laid a wreath on each of the 13 graves of soldiers who lost their lives during World War I and were followed by our school council who laid their crosses.  A two minute silence was observed followed by ‘The Last Post’
