Sharni, a representative from the NSPCC visited our school, along with Buddy the mascot, and delivered their Speak out. Stay safe. assemblies to share information with the children about how they can keep themselves safe from harm and where to get help if they have any worries.
She also told us about the valuable work they do across the country and talked about how important it is for everyone in our school community to join them in their ‘fight for every childhood‘
|In order to support the amazing work done in schools by the NSPCC, we decided to hold a sponsored buddy workout. All children from Reception up to Year 6 took part in the activities which included lots of different workouts including: skipping, step ups, star jumps, shuttle runs and ski jumps.|
The sponsor money came in thick and fast and at the latest count we had raised over £1200. Sharni will be back in to present the badges and announce the final total soon.
